Easy Way to Stop Smoking

For all those who are still thinking of a way to stop smoking, whether have you try using Nicotine patch, Nicotine Gum etc.

I would like to share a book written by Allen Carr "Easy Way to stop smoking!" It was written by an ex-smoker.

This book really helps and it does not tell you the side effects you got from smoking. He actually asks you to read while smoking. And until the last chapter, it will be the last puff of your cigarette.

Sunday Blue…

Random Picture taken in Bali.

Ever heard of Sunday Blue???

Today is Sunday, and I’m still at work!

Actually plan to have a good rest and recharge back my energy. Last minute VVIP changed their schedules and I have to come back to work. Came in at 2.00pm and can only go off at 10.00pm. On a positive side I still can claim one day off to accumulate my day off to go back to Malaysia. Anyway, that’s what all about in the hotel industry. I was prepared on all this working during public holidays, offdays... when I decided to study hotel management.

I might also need to go back to Malaysia in this month. Hate all these last minute arrangement, air fare will be very expensive coz have to buy on last minute basis. I’m a very organized person and I hate all these….. Anyway, this is not beyond my control.

Hope to see Jane when I’m back to KL. We met up in a very odd way, she was my ex-boyfriend’s girlfriend. And she sent message to me in friendster and that’s how we met each other. We had already known each other for 2 years. Will definitely take photos with her when I got the chance to see her. Women!... will definitely become closer to each other once started to click on each other. I don’t mind about it and I love making new friends. Anyway, past is past!

That’s all about LIFE! I would prefer to have more friends rather than more enemies….

Cambodian Traditional Wedding Dinner

I was invited by my staff to attend his wedding dinner on the 11th May 2008. This was the first Cambodian traditional wedding dinner that I attended after 9 months staying in this country.

The tradition of the wedding dinner started as early as 3.30pm and ended around midnight. It was in one of the “kampong” which was on the way to the killing field (a famous historical area during the Khmer rouge).

We arrived the place at 6.00pm. The wedding bride and bridegroom were waiting at the entrance and took photos with every guests. After photo taking session, each guest will hand in Angpow to the reception. And we were seated at the table. Waited till the table was fully occupied with 10 guests, then dinner will start to serve.

Some of the food was quite similar to Chinese food like prawn cooked with butter sauce and braised kampong chicken. And I would say some is quite similar to Thai food like the appetizer and salad.

I also found out that it is essential that every guest must be fully groomed up with full make up and hair done to attend for the cambodian wedding dinner. Everyone will have their make up and hair do done at the shop which costs at around usd5-10. And their traditional dinner wear is also not that cheap, costs at minimum of USD50 and above.

We went off at around 7.30pm without waiting till the dancing part.

Trip Back to Malaysia in May 2008

Manage to take 1 week off in May to go back to my country, spent 4 days in KL and 3 days in Miri. This trip was so rushed and tired! Couldn’t make it a longer one as just started my new job in March.

Manage to spend 4 days in KL for JE’s father’s 60th Birthday Dinner at Hee Lai Ton, Jalan Pudu. The food was not bad and we had total of 6 tables on that night. Took some photos also on that night.

After the dinner, went back to Miri on the second day. Only spent a night to catch with all my ex-colleagues. It was a wonderful night although was only a short night. All of us wore in BLACK. Coz BLACK can make us look smaller and thinner, hehe…

We went to Uncle Ho’s Fine Food for dinner. After that, went to Island Bar and continue to sing karaoke at Coyote Ugly. The Iced Blended Lemon on that night at Island Bar was not as great as the one we had in January. Also Didn’t really like the atmosphere in Coyote Ugly coz too crowded on that night and only managed to sing a few songs.

Can’t wait to go back in September! See u guys soon!

Trip to Sihanoukville, Cambodia

I went to visit one of the province in Cambodia, Sihanoukville recently during the 3 days Public Holiday in Cambodia (King’s Birthday on the 13-15 May 2008). The main attraction of this place is beaches, snorkeling, diving, banana boat….

It took about 4 hours (by bus) from Phnom Penh City. I actually planned to go for snorkeling. Unfortunately, due to the raining season that spoil my whole plan.

Sihanoukville is just like Bali in Indonesia. It’s so commercialize as lots of foreigners will come to visit here. Beach Bungalow can be found along Spendility Beach (By foreigners) at reasonable price which is around USD15-60 per night. I plan to go there again in November to stay at the beach bungalow.

I like the concept of the restaurant here which is facing of the sea just like Bali. Most of the restaurant is opened by foreigners like French, Mexican, Australian, Japanese… The food is much better than the Western Food in KL. Price is reasonable around USD15 per person dining in a restaurant.

We also went to the local beach called Ochaeutal Beach. I don’t really like the concept there as the restaurant only serve local, Asian and some western food. Quality of the food is so bad and expensive compare to the foreign restaurant. Maybe we are foreigners…

The 3 days 2 nights trip is really pampered. I’ll definitely make a trip again in November.

Second Night Dinner @ The Mexican Restaurant

At Occhateul Beach

Manicure & Pedicure costs at USD4 only. They did thread waxing on me, so painful!

At Sprendility Beach. Had lunch facing the beach.

Happy Birthday to my Brother, ROBIN YONG!

1st June 1987, is a special day of my little brother who came in to our family!

He is very quiet in the family but very talkative to his friends. He loves Computer games. He is a bit hot tempered sometimes so better be away from him at that time. However, he has a warm heart to help any of his friends and family although he appears to be cool.

During this special festival, I would like to say “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, MY DEAR BROTHER!’’

P/S : Present will be delivered to you in September!
