Agong’s Birthday celebration in Cambodia

Went to a cocktail dinner invited by Malaysian Embassy at Intercontinental Hotel, Phnom Penh on the 9^th June 2008 in conjunction of the celebration of Agong’s Birthday. All Malaysians are invited to the event. Feels like going back home after seeing so many Malaysians. Majority of them are working in the banking line, Hotel Industry, construction line or owning own business.

Everyone was wearing Batik and Baju Melayu on that night. I have more than ten Baju Kebaya and Baju Kurung but didn’t bring any here. I used to wear Baju Kebaya to work every Friday or whenever I do Sales Calls in Putrajaya. Therefore, only wore my normal working suits to that event.

The Malaysian food served on that night was not so nice as was cooked by European Chef. The satay looks like Grilled chicken fillet. Really miss Malaysian Food like Penang Fried Kway Teow, Ho Fun Soup, Sarawak Laksa, Sarawak Kolok Mee….
